In 1999, with an increasing demand to create custom stainless solutions in commercial kitchens, St. Louis Stainless recognized the need for better and more affordable commercial kitchen products. By marrying its sophisticated manufacturing processes with innovative designs, St. Louis Stainless has patented a number of products that perform better and are less expensive than those offered by the competition. These products have caught industry attention and are quickly becoming industry standard.

In 2005, SteelKor purchased St. Louis Stainless. SteelKor is the commercial kitchen product parent, and St. Louis Stainless remains a division that provides custom stainless solutions for a wide array of products outside the commercial kitchen product industry. SteelKor has secured further core engineering design talent and technology deployment specialists to maintain its commitment to developing and marketing the best commercial kitchen products in the industry at the best prices. To accommodate the increased demand, SteelKor recently acquired a 26,600 square foot manufacturing facility in Fenton, Missouri. This central location allows for easy distribution of products throughout North America and abroad.
